Firefighters rescue 'ungrateful' cat from roof in Scarborough
A cat which got itself stuck on a roof in Eastfield has been rescued by firefighters.
Fire crews were called to a house in Eastfield at about 6pm yesterday evening at the request of the RSPCA.
Firefighters used a nine-metre ladder to rescue the cat from a two-storey house after its rear legs had become wedged under a roof tile.
A spokesperson said the "ungrateful cat was returned safely to earth and the grateful owner".
