A body found in Scarborough has been confirmed as missing Whitby man Peter Brown.
A coroner has confirmed the tragic news following the discovery of a body on Thursday January 21 by British Transport Police in some overgrowth, near to train lines in the Seamer Road area of Scarborough.
The father-of-two was last seen at Cross Lane Hospital in Scarborough on May 8 2019.

Hide AdEfforts to find him included his friends setting up a Facebook group which hundreds of people joined, and an online fundraiser which collected almost £5,000.
Police say his family have asked for their privacy to be respected.
