Huge Party Band announced for Rainbow Charity Ball 2026 in Scarborough

Following the tremendous success of last year’s event, The Rainbow Centre says it is thrilled to welcome back the York-based band, renowned for their high-energy performances and broad appeal.

Having sold out prestigious venues multiple times, Huge Party Band has built a reputation as a group that truly “can please all of the people all of the time.”

The Rainbow Charity Ball promises an elegant and entertaining evening, beginning with a drinks reception followed by a luxurious three-course dinner.

Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a charity auction featuring a range of exclusive prizes generously donated by local businesses.

The night will continue with live music from Huge Party Band and a lively DJ set, ensuring guests can dance well into the evening.

Attendees are encouraged to dress in black tie or formal evening wear, adding to the sophisticated atmosphere of the event.

James Howard, Fundraising Officer at The Rainbow Centre, said: “After the success of last year’s Rainbow Ball, it was only natural for us to book Huge Party Band again.

“They were incredibly popular, and it was fantastic to see so many people enjoying themselves on the dance floor.

“We welcomed over 200 supporters last year, and we are looking forward to seeing even more people join us on June 6 2026.”

For nearly 28 years, The Rainbow Centre has been supporting vulnerable individuals in Scarborough, providing essential services including a foodbank, café, hot showers, laundry facilities, clothing and bedding, as well as debt advice and support for those in crisis.

All proceeds from the event will go directly towards maintaining and expanding these vital services.
